Saeki's still playing full strength, he should adjust his performance a bit... like Aono did.

The scene where Harada cued the rest of the 1st violin section via body language is kind of what I was getting at when I mentioned the whole "chain of command" thing for keeping time. Though I guess it's less of the 1st chair sending cues to everyone else & more of everyone else looking to them as another reference for tempo/keeping time by observing things like how their upper body/head sways as they play, their bow moving up/down, etc.

i was legit about to drop before they start the audition but after that episode, I decided to stay for a bit now that the story has returned back to the original path and focused on Hajime.

this episode kinda pissed me off but also confirms what the "soprano" voices think. They never realize they need to listen to the rest of the group for balance and blend when they carry the melodie. Glad Aono learned that lesson early on.
